HighAdvocacy alternatives

HighAdvocacy alternatives: when to switch (and when to stay)

HighAdvocacy is a customer advocacy platform that meters advocates. Their own line is “pay for advocates, not for features.” Entry prices match Amplaud at $29 and $99, but Professional rises with your advocate count, to $699 a month at 100,000 advocates.

Stay if you want a custom domain from Starter, AI verification of reviews, slightly lower annual pricing, or capacity defined by advocate count.

Look elsewhere when you do not want the bill to rise as more customers speak up. Or when you want the top tier priced in public instead of through sales, or extra workspaces and seats included rather than billed per unit.

How we compared

No fake scores, no invented rankings.

We compared on the criteria below, using the figures on our side-by-side pages. Each of those links to the vendor's own pricing page and says when it was checked.

Amplaud

Amplaud as a HighAdvocacy alternative

Amplaud is customer-proof software. You ask for text, video, or a public review through a campaign link. Submissions land in one queue, and you approve before anything goes public. Approved proof lives in a proof library, and you publish it to a hosted Wall of Love or an embed. On Growth and Scale, a reward can fire when you approve. Advocates are never counted.

Where Amplaud differs

  • No advocate caps. HighAdvocacy runs from 500 on Starter up to 100,000 on Professional.
  • Scale is published at $249 a month, where HighAdvocacy's top tier is custom and sold through sales.
  • Extra workspaces and seats come with the tier. HighAdvocacy charges $20 per extra workspace and $5 per extra seat.
  • The same entry prices, $29 and $99, but Amplaud Growth stays at $99 however many people send proof. HighAdvocacy Professional reaches $699 a month at 100,000 advocates.
  • Gift cards come from your own Tremendous account or codes you import, with no markup from Amplaud. HighAdvocacy charges face value plus 5% on Professional.

Where HighAdvocacy still wins

  • A custom domain from Starter. Amplaud has none on any plan.
  • AI verification of reviews, with a monthly allowance on each plan.
  • Slightly cheaper annual pricing at the entry points, $288 and $948 against $290 and $990.
  • Rewards from the entry plan, by webhook on Starter.
  • Stated media storage on each plan.

Choose Amplaud if

advocate growth should not raise the bill, you want the top tier priced in public, or seats and workspaces should come with the tier.

Choose HighAdvocacy if

a custom domain or AI verification decides it.

Other tools worth a look.

Each card uses the figures on our side-by-side page for that tool.

Senja

Display-first testimonials with a free plan, custom domains, imports from 18 platforms, and a cheaper mid tier, $59 against Amplaud Growth at $99. Senja thanks people with e-gifts, coupons, and Spin the Wheel; Amplaud ties the reward to a required approval step.

Stay with Senja if price, the free tier, a custom domain, or wall polish decides it.

Amplaud vs Senja

Famewall

The cheapest route to a wall: $15 entry, $29 on the mid tier, and Agency at $149 billed monthly, less billed yearly, with a free plan and custom domains. No advocate rewards.

Stay with Famewall if budget, a custom domain, or white-label agency walls decide it.

Amplaud vs Famewall

Testimonial.to

Video and text collection organized into spaces, about level with Amplaud at entry, $30 against $29 billed monthly, with custom domains from Starter. Watch per-space billing: each extra space starts from $600 a year.

Stay with Testimonial.to if one brand and video capture is the whole job.

The metering question in plain words

HighAdvocacy prices by how many advocates you collect. Professional is $99 a month at 1,000 advocates, $289 at 10,000, and $699 at 100,000, so a campaign that works moves you up the scale. Amplaud does not count advocates at all. Capacity sits on workspaces and seats, so collecting more proof does not, by itself, raise the bill.

That is the main fork. The custom domain, AI verification, and a few annual dollars are secondary once you know which metering model you will live with.

When each option fits

A decision map, not a ranking.

  • Stay on HighAdvocacy when a custom domain from day one, AI verification of reviews, slightly lower annual pricing, or advocate-metered capacity is the deciding model.
  • Look at Amplaud when advocate growth should not raise the bill, you want Scale priced in public at $249, or seats and workspaces should come with the tier instead of as add-ons. Accept no custom domain.
  • Look at Senja when you want a free plan, custom domains, and polished walls at a lower mid-tier price.
  • Look at Famewall when you want the cheapest wall, a custom domain from the Standard plan, or white-label client walls.
  • Look at Testimonial.to when video capture for one brand is the whole job and you will not add spaces.

None of these is “best.” The right pick matches the constraint you will not bend.

Questions, answered

What is the main difference?

How they charge. HighAdvocacy prices by advocate volume. Amplaud prices by workspaces and seats and never counts advocates.

Is Amplaud cheaper?

At the entry points the prices match, and annual billing slightly favors HighAdvocacy. The gap opens with your advocate count: HighAdvocacy Professional is $99 a month at 1,000 advocates and $699 at 100,000, while Amplaud Growth stays at $99. Amplaud also has no seat or workspace add-ons.

Does Amplaud offer a custom domain?

No. HighAdvocacy includes one from Starter, so prefer HighAdvocacy if a custom domain is required.
