Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Amplaud LLC (“Amplaud,” “we,” “us”) handles information when you visit our website, create an account, or use the Amplaud application to collect, approve, publish, and reward customer testimonials and reviews.
By using Amplaud you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use Amplaud on behalf of a business, you accept this policy for that business.
Information we collect
Account information: your name, email address, password, workspace details, and billing information when you subscribe to a paid plan.
Content you provide: campaigns you create, testimonials, reviews, ratings, video, images, and other proof submitted through your campaigns, along with any reward settings and advocate details you add.
Submissions from advocates: when your customers respond to a campaign, we process the content and contact details they choose to provide so it can reach your approval queue.
Usage and technical data: log data, device and browser information, IP address, and cookies or similar technologies that help us operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide and maintain the service, including operating accounts and workspaces, collecting submissions, running the approval queue, publishing approved proof, and delivering configured rewards.
We also use information to secure the service and prevent abuse, to provide customer support, to process payments, to communicate with you about your account, and to understand and improve how Amplaud is used.
We send product and marketing messages only where permitted, and you can opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting support@amplaud.com.
Customer proof and publishing
Amplaud is built to help businesses collect and publish customer proof. When you approve a submission and publish it to a Wall of Love or an embedded widget, the content and the attribution you approve become publicly visible.
As the account holder you are the controller of the proof you collect and publish, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis and appropriate consent to display it. Amplaud provides the tools to collect consent, moderate content, and remove items on request.
If you are an advocate who submitted proof and want it corrected or removed, contact the business that ran the campaign, or email support@amplaud.com and we will help route your request.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
When you close your account, we delete or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required or permitted to retain it. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Your privacy rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise a right, email support@amplaud.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act on a request, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@amplaud.com right away.
International data transfers
Amplaud is operated from the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have different data protection laws than your own.
Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for international transfers.
Children's privacy
Amplaud is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact support@amplaud.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of Amplaud after an update means you accept the revised policy.
